This pair of genuine Browning magazines for the B.A.R. Auto Rifle was bought new from us around 10 years ago, and have never been used. The owner simply had them as spares. He kept his B.A.R. .308, but sold these mags to us when, not surprisingly, he sold us his Safari Mark II B.A.R. in 7mm Remington Mag caliber. Both these magazines are still a bit greasy, as they almost always are from the factory or distributor; and they both are in their original packages with the bar-coded label. Mag: Colt AR Sporter .223 Thermold 30-Shot

The Canadian Company Thermold did an excellent job early on while we were all getting used to the notion of high impact plastic guns and magazines. This is a genuine Thermold Magazine manufactured in the 1991 to fit Colt AR 15s, Sporters, and similar rifles. This magazine is definitely pre-ban, date coded 91, and our proprietor can attest to its age because he has had it in his personal possession since at least 1993. We have had good experience with these, and Thermold has earned its good reputation. This magazine has some surface scuffing, but it has been fired very little if at all, and has been sitting unloaded for at least 10 years. It inserts, locks the bolt, and free-falls correctly. This is a Simmonds Precision magazine for the AR-15 rifle or Colt Sporters, or any similar rifle. It is in Excellent Condition, and it was manufactured in West Hartford, neighbor to Colt’s home. We can personally attest that it is pre-ban, pre-Brady; because it has been in our proprietor’s personal possession since the 1980s, for the past 2 decades. VI. Glock Magazines and Clips

How to tell whether a Glock magazine is pre-1994 or post-1994, pre-ban or post ban.

Thanks to our good friend Mr. Ed from Massachusetts, who points out the two pre-ban variants of Glock Magazines, as well as the post ban. “It all has to do,” he explains, “with the location of the caliber designation. Before the ban, the caliber designation was located approximately half way between the upper witness holes and the square cutout. When the ban went into effect, they moved the caliber designation to the top of the magazine so they could fit the ‘restricted’ markings under them. After the AWB expired in 2004, Glock eliminated the ‘restricted’ markings, but left the caliber designation up top. To see the difference, look at the location of the caliber designation on your current production Glock magazines. … Here is a picture to fully explain it, side by side, of the three types of non-‘Restricted’ marked magazines:”

Mag Floorplates Glock Lot of 11

Some of our shoppers are competent gunsmiths. We are neither. This lot includes a total of 7 magazine butt caps and 3 retainers for Glock Pistols. We are unclear as to which ones fit which, but all are for wider body magazines. 6 of the butt plates are marked #3206; 2 of them are marked 455. Two of the retainers are marked 5166 and one is # 1693. All 3 of the retainers appear mint, and only one or two of the plates show any significant wear or dirtiness. These are all in Very Good to Mint Condition, no cracks or serious scuffs. Note that none of these add any capacity to any particular Glock magazine; rather, they simply are replacement parts. Since so many of the items in our store cannot be offered on eBay, we are happy to have at least some items we can offer on there, so we apologize for confusion to any shoppers who see this listing on our home sight documents. Whether any of our shoppers love them or hate them, the Remington Pump and Auto High-Powered Rifles have long been key players in the deer rifle market. Rumor has it that Remington has discontinued magazine production for these discontinued rifles: The Remington 740, 742, 7400, Four, Six, 7600, and 760. Whether our shoppers believe that or not, these are excellent magazines for a very serviceable rifle – for decades if it’s kept clean. They are factory Remington long action magazines, standard four shot. They will work for .25-06, .270, .280, .30-06, and .35 Whelen chambered rifles. This 7600 magazine will work fine in the autos; it will not, of course, lock the bolt open after the last shot. These are brand new, fresh 2007 production magazines. Mag Rem 742/7400 .243 / .308 Shot Act New Unfired

Here are a couple of prizes that our personnel manager found out on the prowl among our friendly competitors here in Tennessippi, when he didn’t have any personnel to manage. These are factory Remington Magazines for the Models 742, 7400 and Model Four in short action calibers; they are marked for .308 Winchester but they will work in a .243 if anyone is lucky enough to have a .243. Packages are original Remington, but are shelfworn and relabeled from longer action calibers. The magazines themselves, as the photos show, are mint condition .308 and so marked. Both these have the lock release lever on their left side that will lower the follower and allow the rifle’s bolt to close after it fires empty. These will work, of course, on a .243 or .308 Model 760 or 7600 Pump, but there will be some aggravation after the clip empties because they will lock the bolt back. Rumor has it that Remington has stopped making these magazines. Own one of these for only $ 29.95

This magazine has extensive light surface rust on its exterior, but also has a significant amount of original bluing remaining. This is, of course, a 10 shot magazine for the Lee-Enfield, British .303 Rifle. While we are not conversant with the particular variations on these, the retention rib area on the back of the magazine measures 1.409 inches long by .250 wide.
