NRA Dealer of the Year 1993, 1995, 1997

Rossi, Taurus, Braztech Rifles and Shotguns

This page includes any Brazilian-made Long Guns we have in stock, or that we sometimes stock.   We use NRA grading terminology and percentages of the original finish remaining on the firearm in our descriptions. While firearm grading is subjective like coin grading, we have tried to give ample closeup photos of the firearms and tried to describe any detracting features of each firearm in such a way as seller and buyer can be as clear as possible on the merchandise’s condition. For other single shots, please see our Single Shot page; also our brand name pages.

For those kind enough to consider selling or trading us your guns or personal property, please bear in mind that it costs us about $50 a gun from the time it crosses our counter until it is a finished product, ready to ship or go back out the door. The most tedious expense comes with cleaning guns.

Format is our stock number & heading – then photos – then description and price on each item. Serial numbers are deliberately smudged.

Please note that we only charge $25 flat fee for first long gun to the lower 47 states; also, we will discount 2% for payment with USPS Money Orders or lay-aways, but this does not apply when third-party venues like Guns America, Gun Broker, or Auction Arms are involved.

Here is one of the excellent little Rossi Single Shots with its .22 Long Rifle Barrel. This is one we acquired locally, sold by one of our friendly competitors. It is in excellent condition, and this one’s receiver has capability for both 20 gauge and .243 Winchester barrels. Its model designation, S2022243YBS, indicates as much. Its length of pull is 13 ¼ inches, shorter than normal, and it weighs in at only 6 pounds empty. Note the high visibility fiber optic sights atop this 18 ½ inch .22 LR Barrel. This specimen has only very light scuffing on the buttstock, and light contact indications on the sharp edges of the hammer, safety lever, and receiver inside edges from light use. We rate it as Excellent, 90 to 95 percent. Own this one                      for only           $ 119.95

Rossi .308 Single Youth Goncalo New Unfired

For as long as they have been on the market, we have had excellent service experience, and suitable accuracy experience, with the Rossi Single Shots imported by Braztech in Miami. Brazilian workmanship has always been excellent, with the possible exception of the old Boito brand of double barrels. This is a Rossi – Braztech Single Shot Rifle in .308 Winchester; and photos show a new unfired specimen whose box only came in somewhat dilapidated. The rifle is mint condition, unfired. The stock and forend appear to be walnut, but we are not absolutely certain about that. Word is out that there will be no more Brazilian Goncalo, Brazilian Walnut, or even Brazilian Hardwood rifles coming in to the US. Factory specs are as follows: Taurus catalog number R308 MBY; caliber .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO; break-open single shot action; single stage trigger; transfer bar and manual lever safeties with Taurus lock system; 23 inch barrel with Weaver base and no rear sight; overall length 38 ½ inches; weight empty 6 ¼ pounds; Brazilian Walnut stock with 12 ½ inch Youth Length of Pull. We heartily recommend the Remington Reduced Recoil loads, readily available in most areas, for lighter weight or recoil-sensitive folk who use these rifles.      This rifle comes with a Weaver type scope base and hammer extension for scope mounting, as well as two keys for its internal lock, the same type lock that comes on Rossi and Taurus Revolvers. Own this fine little rifles for only           $ 199.95

While our forte is definitely not new guns, Taurus International has run some excellent specials in the past year, and this is one of them, a New in Box Taurus Model 63, copy of the venerable and popular Winchester 63 take-down semi auto rifle, manufactured by Winchester from 1933 until 1960. Photo shows one of three that we bought on sale early this year, so we can offer them for wholesale prices. These rifles are NOT reconditioned, despite their having an X in their serial numbers. X in a Taurus Serial number prefix does not indicate anything about condition; an added-on X suffix, however, indicates factory in-house Miami servicing of some sort. Factory specs are as follows: caliber .22 LR; semi-auto take-down mechanism with trigger guard safety and Taurus lock; 23 inch blue barrel; 32.5 inches overall length; weight 4 ½ pounds empty; walnut finished Brazilian hardwood stock. Photos show the lock mechanism on one specimen we have in stock at press time, late Spring 2008. They are equipped with the innovative, inconspicuous bolt lock that is keyed just like the Taurus and Rossi handguns. Own one of these fine rifles, identical to the one in the photo,           for only                       $ 269.95

Brazilian workmanship has always been excellent, with the possible exception of the old Boito brand of double barrels. This is a Rossi – Braztech Single Shot Rifle in .30-06 caliber; and photos show a specimen we had in stock at ad comp time, Fall 2008. The stock and forend appear to be walnut, but we are not absolutely certain about that. Word is that there will be no more Brazilian Walnut, Goncalo, or even Brazilian hardwood. The few .30-06 Rossis we have do not have the Taurus system hammer lock or keys, so they are even more desirable for some of us. Rossi/Braztech .410 Single Shot Youth Model 22” Mod / 12” Pull / 4 lb Brand New

LG0652 (2)LG0652 (3)

We are not, as we have pointed out elsewhere, trying to wholesale new guns. But it is somewhere a nearly Biblical requirement that any gun store worthy of the name shall have in stock a representative of the all-time best seller, the .410 single shot. Here the Brazilians have excelled, for lightness and durability; and this Braztech / Rossi Youth Model .410 outdoes their FIE/Remington predecessors, the SB-41. This is one of the lightest shotguns on the market, less than 4 pounds empty; it is butt-heavy and thus handy for short-armed persons; it has a lock-down main safety; and its length of pull is 1 ½ inches shorter than a standard long gun. Barrel is 22 inch Modified, 3 inch chamber. Photos are of an actual specimen that we had in stock in late 2008. Once these Goncalo-Stocked Rossis are gone, there will be no more available. Then one will have to take one’s grandkids hunting with a black plastic gun, not a real gun like this one, and they will be forever warped.            Own this very nice little .410 for only            $149.95

Here is an excellent buy in a versatile, lightweight shotgun / rifle combo: The classic lightweight Rossi action and receiver with both 12 gauge (ouch) and .17 HMR Barrels. These are excellent firearms with respectable accuracy. This is a special purchase, firearms were manufactured around 2004, even though they are well greased in their original boxes with black zipper case. These are pre-locks, that is, manufactured before Braztech began putting internal locks on the back of the hammer. We also include, at our expense, the Braztech P081 scope mount base for the .17 barrel. All a person has to do is loosen and remove the rear sight, then install the Weaver type base. Factory Specs are as follows: Gauge 12 ga. 3 inch and .17 Hornady Magnum; weight 5.25 pounds on .17 Barrel and 6.22 pounds on 12 gauge barrel; 28 inch Full Choke 12 gauge barrel and 23 inch .17 Barrel; 14 inch length of pull Brazilian Hardwood stock and forend with pistol grip and factory recoil pad; sling swivels installed.  Own a complete matched set on this Braztech / Rossi offering         for only           $ 169.95

Sales Policy: We must have a signed copy of the receiving dealer’s Federal Firearms License in order to ship firearms interstate, and that licensee must check out with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as a current, bona fide licensee. BATFE has ruled that we can accept legible faxed or scanned Licenses. Individuals commonly use Licensees to act as transfer agents.

We offer a 2% discount for orders paid by USPS Money Order. This does not necessarily apply to purchases through Guns America or other electronic venues. We ship immediately on Money Orders and MC or Visa. Sales policy: We accept Mastercard or Visa on a phone- or fax-in basis; and USPS Money Orders for immediate shipment. Personal checks, company checks, and Cashier’s Checks may involve a delay of no more than 8 business days for clearance. There is no need to bother with a bank cashier’s check, because there are a lot of bogus bank checks presently floating around the country. We even signed one over to Senator Clinton’s Campaign, and it was every bit as good as the $3 and $6 bills that people have put in her donation box that we have put up in our store.

-          We offer a 7 day money back return privilege. Lay-aways and NIB (brand new in box) items excluded as well as silver or gold purchases because of metal market fluctuation.

-          Lay-aways are welcome. We require a 20% deposit, and payment in full of the balance within 90 days of the purchase initiation. If a lay-away runs over 90 days, there is a 6% per month charge on the unpaid balance only. Lay-aways are not refundable.

Interstate Shipments of Firearms can go to Federally Licensed Dealers Only. Anyone who undertakes to purchase a firearm must first of all be eligible to own one under State and Federal Law. Disabilities from owning firearms include being under 21 for a handgun (or pistol grip rifle or shotgun) or under 18 for a long gun; conviction, indictment or information of a misdemeanor domestic violence or felony (it does not matter if the person served jail time or not, the conviction or information suffices); adjudication of a nervous disorder or disability; and non-citizenship in the United States. If anyone who is not eligible to own a firearm attempts to purchase one from us, we will assist law enforcement in that person’s prosecution. If anyone attempts to aid and abet the acquisition of a firearm from us for an ineligible person, we will assist in all involved parties’ prosecution. We have no intention of violating any laws. That is why we cannot ship some firearms and/or magazines to jurisdictions that include California, Maryland, New Jersey, and the New York City vicinity.

If an unlicensed individual wishes to purchase a firearm that we have advertised, he or she must do so legally through an FFL, a federally licensed dealer. Dealers normally charge transfer fees. In our experience, the most readily available transferors are Pawnbrokers and Gunsmiths. Please have transfer logistics worked out before contacting us for a purchase. Thanks for your interest. Law Enforcement officers may purchase a firearm through their department only if it will be used on duty, and Department Letters and paperwork from the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the jurisdiction are required.
