Thanks for looking over our Ruger inventory, and for those among our shoppers who have done business with us in the past. We have sold Rugers since we’ve been in business, and in our experience they are the most durable firearms in existence. Their finish smoothness ranks third behind Colt and Smith & Wesson, of course; but their desirability and even collectability is nothing to sneeze at any more. We applaud Sturm Ruger & Co. for posting serialization and dates on their Serial Number History page.
Our Ruger Handguns are on their own page.
Most of our firearms are
listed on
Guns
America with a few on Auction
Arms
and a few more on Gun
Broker. Our most comprehensive listings, and most of our new arrivals, are
on Guns
America. You don't have to join to view our listings, but it's easy to
enroll.
We are interested in buying or trading for most, but not all, Ruger Firearms in Excellent Condition. We like all their revolvers, especially bright blue with wood grips. Most of their .22 autos are desirable for our clientele, less true for the plastic frame variants. Ruger Center Fire Auto Handguns are only interesting to us at low pawn rates, $100 - $150 for most 9mms, .40s, and .45s. Similar situation holds true for Ruger Long Guns. For those kind enough to offer to sell to us or trade with us, please bear in mind that it costs us $50 or more per firearm to book it, clean it, write it up, photograph it, and publish it on the internet. A 1968 Ruger Super Blackhawk in its original box is a very different, much more valuable firearm if it’s “out there” than if it’s in somebody’s safe.
Discount schedule: 2% discount for payment by USPS Money Order, not necessarily applicable to firearms bought through third party venues such as Gun Broker, Guns America, or Auction Arms.
Listings format: Our stock number, then Item Title, then photos, then description & pricing. We apologize for the mixture, but we have to keep our listings in our Acquisition order so that we can halfway keep up with them.

Ruger 77 Mark II .270 Standard Blue & Walnut Exc Mfg 1996

We are a bit behind on what the current vogue is in High Powered Rifle Configurations, but a quick check from two very large Firearms Distributors showed that the classic 77 R Mark II in 22 inch Blue, Walnut Stocked, is not in their inventory, and possibly even discontinued. This one’s serial number is 784-278xx, manufactured in 1996. This is the nearest thing a person can find to the classic old model 77-R that we have loved for years. It even has the attractive Ruger characteristic purplish-hue blued receiver. Please note that we have brand new factory Ruger Medium Rings for this rifle, since we have traded off the Extra High Milletts that are shown in the photo. The only detraction to this rifle is a small pecked area on the floorplate, visible in the photos. The dark area on the left rear side of the buttstock is natural grain, not fading or staining or anything of the sort. There are no mars or pecks on its walnut anywhere; the action does not appear to ever have been removed from the stock – much less tampered with. Normal scuffing to the bolt body surface is very moderate, indicating that the rifle has been fired very little. Barrel length is, of course, the old standard 22 inches. Replacement price for similar current models of Rugers in our area is well over $600; we’re offering this classic Ruger original, however, for only $ 479.95

Ruger Carbine .44 Magnum Very Good w/Period Sling Mfg. 1962

Serially numbered 572xx, this is the earliest specimen of the Ruger .44 Carbine that we remember having, made in the rifle’s Second Year of Production, 1962. We do not recall ever having one this low in the past 20-25 years. This is a nice one, too; it is a solid Very Good and flirts with the Excellent status. It has no serious detractions, only evidence of light and careful use. Its chief finish flaw is a one-inch, narrow white, non-continuous scuff top center of the barrel about 8 inches back of the muzzle, and a bit of weakness to the blue on the bedding block behind the receiver. The alloy parts of the trigger group exterior are more gray than black, but they still have most of their original finish. The carrier has little wear at all, as the photos show. Stock scuffing is mild and minor, and affects no more than 15-20 percent of the wood surface by our estimate. There is some light weathering indication near the buttplate and at places on the edge of the pistol grip area. Sling swivels are original, and only have leather wear on their edges. Screw stress to the forward swivel or band screw is negligible. The bore, chamber, and gas mechanism are excellent on this little Carbine. Butt plate scuffing is almost all relegated to the heel edge, and buttplate screws are intact and fully blued except for light rust residue in their slots. Sling is a period-appropriate 1 inch military type Hunter brand, probably from the late 1960s. The sling is weak in places but is intact, and has nice toning around its brass pieces. Barrel length, of course, is 18.5 inches and capacity is 5 rounds. Own this outstanding, very early Ruger .44 Carbine for only $ 669.95

go to Federally Licensed Dealers Only. Anyone who undertakes to purchase a
firearm must first of all be eligible to own one under State and Federal Law.
Disabilities from owning firearms include being under 21 for a handgun (or

in the United States. If anyone who is not eligible to own a firearm attempts
to purchase one from us, we will assist law enforcement in that person’s
prosecution. If anyone attempts to aid and abet the acquisition of a firearm
from us for an ineligible person, we will assist in all involved parties’
prosecution. We have no intention of violating any laws. That is why we cannot

One of the most common and persistent violations of Federal Law is the straw purchase. Never attempt to buy a gun for someone else under any circumstances. Even spouses buying for each other is tricky. We will not accept third party payment for firearms purchases. If you want to buy someone a present, buy something besides a firearm.
If an unlicensed individual wishes to
purchase a firearm that we have advertised on a mail order, interstate basis,
he or she must do so legally through an FFL, a federally licensed dealer.
Dealers normally charge transfer fees. In our experience, the most readily
available transferors are Pawnbrokers and Gunsmiths. Please have transfer
logistics worked out before contacting us for a purchase. Thanks for your
interest. Law Enforcement officers may purchase a firearm through their
department only if it will be used on duty, and Department Letters and
paperwork from the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the jurisdiction are
required.
