Thanks for looking over our pistol and revolver grips for Smith & Wesson Handguns. Individual Item format is Stock #, then Heading, then Photo, then description and price. Shipping rate information is at the bottom of this page. We have grips grouped by Gun Brand.
We are not big dealers, no bigger in most cases than your own friendly neighborhood gun shop. We do, however, try our best to obtain and stock items you don’t normally find many of in most gun stores, nice older guns from the 20th Century. Demand for replacement wood grips for Colt, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, and even Charter, Taurus, and Rossi revolvers has never been stronger.
We also are interested in buying or trading for nice, older wood – or pearl, stag, whatever – grips for Smith & Wesson and Colt handguns. To some extent, too, we’re interested in wood or decorative grips for Tauruses, Rossis, Charters, and Rugers. Bear in mind, please, if you offer to sell to us or trade to us how labor intensive that internet listing is.
Buyers please look for grip screws taped inside one of the grip panels on revolver grips when you receive your shipment. Two of our buyers have thrown away their screws, but happily they found them. This seller, to top that, once threw a Beretta 21 out with some supposedly-empty shipping cartons – but found it!

Grips S&W 41 Grips Factory Goncalo 1980s Near Mint No Screws

Here is a set of factory checkered target grips for the classic Smith & Wesson 41 auto in .22 LR. Their only surface detractions are two or three tiny scuffs, the most visible of which is on the edges only of the left panel’s screw bushing recess edges. We rate them as Excellent, 95 percent or better. Photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. We do not have the grip screws for these. These are, of course, among the scarcest and priciest Smith & Wesson grips on the market. Goncalo grips are long discontinued by Smith & Wesson, and all they offer are checkered hardwood in the $75 range. We’re offering this authentic pair, vintage 1970s or 1980s, for only $ 99.95

Grips S&W K/L Sq Goncalo Target Grips Exc Refin 1980s w/Cut

This excellent pair of factory Smith & Wesson Goncalo Alves Target Stocks fits Any K or L frame revolver with Square Butt Grip Frame. These are very attractive with Excellent details. The only giveaway that they are refinished is some roughness to the forward side of the right panel opposite the checkering, and a bit of unevenness to the glossy refinish. Still these are age appropriate for any Smith & Wesson K or L Square Butt Revolver manufactured from the mid 1970s, when S&W began phasing in the speedloader cut to the left panel, up until the mid 1990s, when S&W phased out the square butt grip frame. Replacement price on their current age-inappropriate grips are in the $80 range. We’re offering this nice set for only $ 54.95

Grips S&W K/L Sq Butt Walnut Sile Italian Exc

Parallel to the increasing use of rubber grips, and to the thousands of service revolvers that came on the market in the 1970s and 1980s with the onset of higher and higher velocity ammunition and the advent of the semi-automatic, Sile of New York filled an important niche for upgrading Smith & Wesson model 10 and 15 revolvers whether on patrol or on the resale market. Their grips are genuine Italian Walnut, very traditional with thumb rest groove on the left panel, and very attractive with an even semi-gloss finish. Photo shows a set we took off a service revolver. They are in excellent condition, near mint. Own the set in the photo for only $ 19.95

Grips S&W 41 Sile Walnut 1980s Exc No Screws

Here is a set of Sile checkered target grips for the classic Smith & Wesson 41 auto in .22 LR. Their only surface detractions are a few small scuffs and pecks, the most visible of which are on the edges of the right panel’s butt edge palmswell and right trigger finger swell edge. We rate them as Excellent, 90 percent or better. Photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. We do not have the grip screws for these. These are period appropriate for any Model 41 manufactured in the 1970s or 1980s, and they are attractive, comfortable and stable for serious target shooting with any Model 41. Goncalo grips are long discontinued by Smith & Wesson, and all they offer are checkered hardwood in the $75 range. We’re offering this authentic pair of vintage Sile 1970s or 1980s Model 41 grips for only $ 39.95

Grips S&W K/L Square Target Palmswell Sile 1980s Walnut

Here is an age appropriate, exotically contoured set of genuine walnut grips that will suit any Smith & Wesson Target Revolver manufactured from the late 1960s until the early 1990s, when Smith & Wesson discontinued their square butt grip frame. These are very attractive high-gloss grips with butt area palmswell, pronounced trigger side finger guide rib on the upper right panel, and wide thumb rest on the left panel. They have a very attractive high gloss finish whose only detractions are a couple of scuffed, slightly dulled areas on the forward portions of the left panel. Not only will these enhance vintage S&Ws like models 17, 14, and 6 inch 19s; they will serve as comfortable, distinctive and accuracy-enhancing grips for any Square Butt K- or L-Frame Smith & Wesson Revolver. We’re offering them for only $ 36.95

Grips S&W K/L Sq Goncalo Target Mint 1980s w/Cut

This excellent pair of factory Smith & Wesson Goncalo Alves Target Stocks fits Any K or L frame revolver with Square Butt Grip Frame. These are very attractive; and they are in mint condition with no surface detractions. Like so many we personally did in the 1970s and 80s, these were pulled off a new S&W, replaced with rubber grips, and never used. They are age appropriate for any Smith & Wesson K or L Square Butt Revolver manufactured from the mid 1970s, when S&W began phasing in the speedloader cut to the left panel, up until the mid 1990s, when S&W phased out the square butt grip frame. Replacement price on their current age-inappropriate grips are in the $80 range. We’re offering this nice set for only $ 79.95

Grips S&W K Sq Imit Stag Chicago 1960s Hillbilly VG

Here is a set of cheap grips from the 1950s or 1960s made in Chicago by Sports NE Company, nostalgic plastic imitation stag; and a poor imitation at that. Grips like these, especially those made by the better-known Franzite Grip Company, were quite fashionable among our immediate hillbilly ancestors, and really among all those who identified with the somewhat tacky but much loved Elvis-era fashion of the 1950s and 1960s. These grips are especially appropriate for nickeled or renickeled Model 10 snubs of that period. We consider them to be collectable in their own right; and we’re offering them for only $ 29.95
GRSW009
Grips S&W K/L Sq Combat Laminate Exc

Here is, we believe, a set of factory Smith & Wesson Combat Grips that came on a Special Edition Revolver from the 1990s. We invite comment from competent parties. These are Green-Gray Laminate finger grooved Combat grips that fit any K or L Frame Smith & Wesson Revolver with a square butt grip frame. They are in Excellent Condition, high closs, contour cut checkering with diamond motif screw and screw bushing area flats. The upper wings are quite thin, enough so to accommodate speedloaders and use by right- or left-handed shooters. Their only surface detractions are some very light, small tack-y places on the upper left rear of the left panel, and this condition may well be original to the grips. Smith & Wesson’s current offerings do not include this set of grips. Similar ones, nowhere near as exotic as these, list in the $80 range. We’re offering this fine set for only $ 69.95

Grips S&W J Rd Combat Laminate Exc w/ Logos No Screw

Here is a set of factory Smith & Wesson Combat Grips that differ from Smith & Wesson’s current listings in two respects. First, S&W does not list grips in this light brown laminate coloration. Second, S&W’s current J-frame offerings for Combat grips do not have factory logos. These do. These will fit, of course, any J frame Smith & Wesson Revolver with Round Butt Grip frame, from the Model 317 or 351 PD all the way up to the Models 60 and 640 in .357 Magnum. These have no detectable surface detractions anywhere to their glossy finish, only a bit of diminished brilliance on the lower area of the left panel. Sadly, we do not have their screw. Anchor studs are both in place, however. Current S&W J Combat listings for similar grips are in the $70 range. We’re offering this fine set, however, for only $ 46.50

Grips S&W J Rd Combat Sile Premier NIB

Here is a favorite from the mid 1970s that has not been superseded or underpriced since it hit the market during that decade: the Sile Premier combat grips for the Smith & Wesson J frame Chief’s Special Revolvers like models 36, 60, 640, 637, 317PD, 351PD, and 340PD. Not only are these grips period appropriate even for pinned-barrel vintage Chief’s Specials like our R- prefix model 60s that we try so hard to acquire; they are thin enough for concealment yet thick enough where it counts – on the backstrap area – to soak up substantial amounts of recoil even from a 360 or 340 Magnum and still allow the shooter to hang on to the weapon, a fact enhanced greatly by the forward finger grooves and checkered molded finish. Buyer will receive the grips in the photo or one of their identical mates. Own a set of Sile J-Round Premier Combat Grips, brand new in their original factory labeled bag, for only $ 11.50

Grips S&W J Rd Combat Sile Walnut Banana NIB

Here is a favorite from the mid 1970s that has not been superseded or underpriced since it hit the market during that decade: the Sile Walnut combat grips for the Smith & Wesson J frame Chief’s Special Revolvers like models 36, 60, 640, 637, 317PD, 351PD, and 340PD. Not only are these grips period appropriate even for pinned-barrel vintage Chief’s Specials like our R- prefix model 60s that we try so hard to acquire; they are smooth enough for easy drawing and re-pocketing, and the additional 5/8 inch at the forward point of their butt area gives firm manageability during recoil even from a 360 or 340 Magnum. Buyer will receive the grips in the photo or one of their identical mates. More notable, perhaps, these are attractive grips, genuine walnut with medium depth checkering and the Sile Eagle logos on each panel. They are strikingly similar to the shortly-produced Smith & Wesson Banana Combat Grips from the late 1970s and early 1980s. We happily found only a few sets of these on closeout status in a remote Southern warehouse. Own a set of Sile J-Round Premier Combat Grips, brand new in their original factory labeled bag, for only $ 19.95

They are strikingly similar to the sparsely-produced Smith & Wesson Combat Grips from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Grips S&W J Rd Smooth Cocobolo Herretts NIB

Here is an excellent set of Herrett Extra Fancy Coco Bolo Custom Grips, standard magna style, to fit any Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolver with a Round Butt Grip frame. All of them nowadays are round butt, of course, from the Model 36 up to the 340 and 360 PD Magnums. This is a very dark, close-grained set of Cocobolo Magnas with S&W Factory Logos. These are similar to the prized grips from the Smith & Wesson Ladysmith Series Revolvers, only they are even more attractive than those Rosewood Grips. This set is brand new in its original factory package, one of only two sets we were able to obtain. Own them for only $ 39.95

Grips S&W K/L Sq Cocobolo Herretts Target NIB

Photos show four sets of the Herrett # HERSP K&L Square Butt Presentation Grips in smooth Cocobolo. Even if the Herrett’s Company can’t spell cocobolo, they have always made excellent grips, both in appearance and function. Replacement price from the Smith & Wesson Online Store for these is upwards of $70 a pair. We’re offering these, however, each set for only $ 39.95

Grips S&W J Square Target Walnut NIB

Here are some very attractive grips for Smith & Wesson J or M frame Revolvers like the model 34, 36, and 63, with square butt grip frame. They will not fit round butt revolvers, and all J and M frame Smith & Wesson made since the early 1990s are Round Butt. Nevertheless, these are Sile import genuine Italian Walnut Grips, very attractive, and period appropriate for revolvers from the 1970s to 1990s. They will even fit most of the Regulation Police and Hand Ejector models with Square Butts back to the 1920s and 1930s. These are attractive and functional, with wide pressed checkering and target swells on both panels. Own a set, either the ones in the photo or one of their identical mates, for only $ 19.95

Grips S&W K-Square Pachmayr VG-Exc 1980s

This is an aged but very attractive and serviceable set of Pachmayr Presentation Grips, SK/L, for any Smith & Wesson K or L Frame Revolver with Square Butt Grip Frame. This set exhibits a nice glossy appearance from handling, it closes correctly and fits well, however; and external scuffing is minimal, affecting no more than 10 percent of the surface area in our estimation. Own this very nice set of 20 to 25 year old Pachmayrs for only $ 19.95
GR063
Grips S&W K-Square Magna VG 1970s Goncalo

Except for the surface chipping at the lower edge of the right panel beneath the checkering, this set of K Square Magna service grips for any K or L Frame Smith & Wesson revolver has strong details throughout. Note that there is moderate scuffing to the lower forward edge of the left panel as well. We rate these at about 70 percent finishwise, and there is a nice natural oil toning where the original glossy finish was to begin with. Own them for only $ 19.95
GR065
Grips S&W Target Goncalo K/L Square with Cut VG 1980s

As nearly as we can determine, Smith & Wesson began phasing in Ejector Cut or Speedloader Cut to the upper left panel of their Target Stocks around 1978. This set we estimate to come from the early 1980s, and appears to be Rosewood. We estimate that 80 percent or so of the original glossy finish remains, with light to moderate wear indications on their sharp edges. While the checkering is sharp throughout, with some light dulling on the right panel, note the slight amount of wood missing on the rear area of the right panel opposite the checkering. Nevertheless, this is a very respectable set of Target Grips for any K or L Frame Smith & Wesson Revolver with square butt grip frame. Own them for only $ 36.95
GR066
Grips S&W J-Round Magnas VG

This is a very decent set of J-Round Magnas for Smith & Wesson J or M frame revolvers with round butt grip frames. The oil staining is not really a detraction to us, and we estimate that 70 percent or so of the original glossy finish remains on these. None of the wear is more than moderate, checkering and logos are very strong. Own this fine little set of Goncalo Magnas for the J-Round Smith & Wessons for only $ 24.95
GR067
Grips S&W Combat Walnut K or L Square VG 1980

We are reasonably certain that this set of genuine factory Smith & Wesson finger-grooved Combat Grips are walnut. They have moderate wear indications with a nice oil finish taking over from their original gloss. The most pronounced surface scuffs are on the left panel, on the raised forward portion of the surface between the ring and little finger flutes. We consider this very nice set of ultra-rare, highly desireable Combat Grips is in Very Good Condition. Own this fine set for only $ 99.95
Grips S&W 4500 Type Flat MSH Exc

A person can order these direct from Smith & Wesson and set a pair down for about $25 - $30. This set is near mint, with only one light small superficial scuff that we can see. These will fit any full size grip frame .45 or 10mm Smith & Wesson metal frame auto, including the 4506, 4566, 1006, and 1066. Own them for only $ 19.95

Grips S&W J-Square Magna Goncalo 1970s VG LH, Fair RH

The left panel is close to Excellent Condition on this set of S&W Magna Grips for M or J frame square butt revolvers, but the right panel has lots of wear, very little checkering even left. Evidently on of the Louisville, KY detectives had these on a Square Butt Chief’s Special back in the 1970s. These will also fit Models 34, 63, 51, and similar .22’s. Own this nice Left Hand panel with the right one thrown in for only $ 19.95

The dark coloration comes from Old English Scratch Cover admittedly, but these are a very decent set of Smith & Wesson factory Goncalo magna style grips for K- or L-frame Square Butt Revolvers. Note that there is some wood missing from the high ridge opposite the checkering on the right hand panel. These will fit 10s, 15s, 19s, 586s, and a whole host of similar revolvers like we deal in. Grips S&W J-Rd Jay ScottBlack Pearl & Laminate Exc. 1970s

From our knowledge of the collection that these grips came from, they were manufactured some time in the early 1970s. Jay Scott Number, stamped on the inside of the left panel’s laminate surface, is 160. Here is a set of black imitation pearl grips, complete with their screw. These will fit any standard Smith & Wesson J frame or .32 hand ejector in round butt. They will also fit the .22/32 Kit Guns, and hence are most often designation M frame. While we detect no conspicuous surface detractions to the black imitation pearl, we detect two hairline pressure cracks on the top surface of the right panel. We do not believe this will ever be a problem, since the cracks do not extend anywhere near the imitation pearl layer’s edges. Laminated bases are excellent and intact on both panels, and they have only moderate edge scuffing to the butt and backstrap regions. Own this fine set of vintage Jay Scott grips for only $ 26.50

Grips S&W .38 Top Break RH Panel with Screw VG Blem

Here is an almost complete right grip panel, complete with its escutcheon, and more important, complete with its screw. This panel is almost complete, with some damage at its butt portion beneath the stud hole, a common break point for these type grips. We estimate that this panel is 95 percent complete, and the missing flake will not be readily conspicuous. Most important, its retaining nut is intact and its screw is here with only moderate stress indications. This is the panel, of course, that is most apt to break on the older S&W .38 Safety Revolvers.
