Thanks for looking over our inventory, and for those among our shoppers who have done business with us in the past. Belgian Browning firearms in Excellent or better condition are, as y’all know, difficult to find and even more difficult to pry loose from their owners. A similar situation holds with Japanese Brownings, at least the ones with walnut and bright blue. Even the well-used old veterans are desirable amidst the proliferation of firearms from, say, China and Turkey. A blind person, we have always held, will know the difference between a Browning Auto-Five and a Turkish auto, or even many US made autos. All the older Brownings are timeless, and several of the ones we have, even the ones that discriminating collectors will shrug off, are testimonies to the genius of the Inventor and the expertise of the Company and its contractors. Please check out our Browning Auto-Fives page, Light 12s, Sweet 16s, and Vintage Standard Auto-Fives.
For those kind enough to consider selling or trading
us their guns, please bear in mind that it costs us about $50 to process a
firearm. The principal time consumer here is cleaning. Fewer than 5% of the
firearms we acquire are clean. This is really a sad situation, because as
fired-up as people get over gun rights, etc., especially during a Presidential
Election year, few even bother to clean their guns, or even learn how to clean
one.
Discount schedule: 2% discount for payment by USPS Money
Order. Guns America or similar venues with middlemen are not included. Please note that we only charge $12 for
Handgun, $25 for Long Gun, to the lower 47 States, USPS Priority Mail, insured.
Listings format: Our stock number, then Item Title, then
photos, then description & pricing.

Browning T-Bolt .22 LR Excellent Mfg 1970

I remember us having stacks of Browning
T-Bolts in their closeout year, probably 1974, for $55.00 apiece in our store.
Most of them were Left Hand, and one shows up here locally about every decade
or so. This is a right hand variant of the FN Belgian Browning T Bolt,
manufactured in 1970. It has the correct x70 suffix appended to its 5-digit
base serial number. This is an Excellent Rifle. The only detractions to the
blond walnut stock are five or so very light, very inconspicuous scuffs on the
stock. It shows the beginnings of what we call lizarding underneath its glossy
finish, but the finish is entirely intact and original. None of the scuffs
penetrate the finish. Trigger guard and group area show mild stress to both
guard screws, light hints of scuffing on the trigger guard, and some magazine
edge contact to the magazine aperture edges. Right rear side edge of the
plastic front sight base housing has one inconspicuous small rough area, but
the barrel and receiver surfaces are almost 100 percent. There is a tiny double
scratch on the upper left side of the barrel about 1.5 inches forward of the
receiver. The bolt handle has some dark toning, the safety lever edge shows a
bit of white, and the left side of the bolt detent surface that mates into the
receiver has some white streaking from its contact with the stock during
operation. Bore, magazine, and chamber are all perfect. Barrel length on these,
of course, was always a respectable 24 inches. We consider this rifle to grade
97 percent or so, but photos should be detailed enough for prospective buyers
to judge finish grade for themselves. We’re offering this very rare little
Browning T-Bolt for only $ 929.95

Browning .22 Auto Grade I Take-Down LR Exc
in Box Mfg. 1975

Serialization is murky for the first years of Miroku production. By 1976 and 1977, the Browning letter codes for dating, incorporated into the serial numbers, were pretty much in place. This rifle’s serial number is 149xxT57, and we believe it is part of the first year’s production, 1975 in our understanding, of Miroku-produced Grade I take-downs. This rifle is in its original box with its instruction manual. We rate it at 95 percent or better. Its only detractions are as follows, and none of them are conspicuous or even visible except under close scrutiny. There are a dozen or so light inconspicuous scuffs or pecks on the glossy finish of the buttstock’s left side, and about a half dozen on the right side. We count two similar small pecks on the forend surface. The unblued muzzle area has about 30 percent brown spottiness on its surface, and a similar situation holds with the exposed area of the bolt under the receiver. Some of the brown on the bolt is probably dried grease. Top of receiver has one small weak spot in its bluing, not conspicuous enough to show up in the photo; and the adjustment ring has a white streak on its teeth that extends for perhaps 30 degrees. Metal is otherwise perfect. None of the detractions on the walnut penetrate the glossy finish.
This 19 inch .22 LR Take-Down auto
is, in our opinion, Near Mint. We consider it to be almost as collectable or
historically significant as its 1 or 2 year older siblings manufactured by FN.
We’re offering it for only $ 569.95

Browning A-Bolt Hunter Walnut with Sights
1985 1st Yr Prod

Here
is one of the reasons that the Browning A-Bolt, billed in its initiatory year
of 1985 as the Rifleman’s Rifle, has earned its reputation here in Tennessippi,
a first year of production Browning A-Bolt Hunter, matte blue finish action
with sights chambered in .270

Browning Nomad FN Belgian .22 LR Blue 4.5
Inch 1967 Exc w/Pouch & Manual

Serial
numbe on this F.N. Belgian Browning Nomad Pistol is 814xxP7, presumably
manufactured in 1967. This pistol is in excellent condition. Its only surface
detractions are occasional light white streaks or pecks on its sharp edges, and
not all sharp edges of the blued surface are affected. The most conspicuous of
these is on the right side of the barrel’s chamber area direcly above the E in
Belgium, as the photos show. Pouch is original, as is the instruction manual.
None of the screws show stress. We consider this fine little pistol to be in
Excellent Condition, 98 percent or so. The magazine, bore and chamber are
excellent as well. Own this extremely nice 4 ½ inch Nomad for only $ 689.95
Sales policy: We accept Mastercard or Visa
on a phone- or fax-in basis; and USPS Money Orders for immediate shipment. We
discount 2% for payment with USPS Money Orders. Personal checks, company
checks, and Cashier’s Checks may involve a delay of no more than 7 business
days for clearance. There is no need to spend money on any Cashier’s Check
other than a USPS Money Order, because there are so many bogus ones in
circulation, much worse than personal checks. We offer a 7 day return
privilege, lay-aways excluded. We offer 90 day lay-away with 20 percent down,
balance in 90 days, but will levy a 6 percent per month charge on any unpaid
balance after 90 days. Lay aways are not refundable. We will honor repair work
from a Browning Warranty certified gunsmith if a lay-away gun proves defective
within 7 days of the buyer’s taking possession of it.
We accept trade-ins at agreed-upon prices,
delivered to us. We cannot be responsible for the freight on returns unless we
have made some sort of glaring mistake.
Shipping rates and information: We must
have a signed copy of the purchaser’s Federal Firearms License in order to ship
firearms interstate, and that licensee must check out with the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as a current, bona fide licensee.
Individuals commonly use Licensees to act as transfer agents. BATFE has ruled
that we can accept legible, signed scans or faxed copies of FFLs.
First
handgun is $12.00, $6.00 each for add-ons, insured, USPS Priority Mail.
First long gun is $25.00, $10.00 each for add-ons in one order.
Insurance is included. $40 first gun for
Interstate Shipments of Firearms can go to Federally
Licensed Dealers Only. Anyone who undertakes to purchase a firearm must first
of all be eligible to own one under State and Federal Law. Disabilities from
owning firearms include being under 21 for a handgun (or pistol grip rifle or
shotgun) or under 18 for a long gun; conviction, indictment or information of a
misdemeanor domestic violence or felony (it does not matter if the person
served jail time or not, the conviction or information suffices); adjudication
of a nervous disorder or disability; and non-citizenship in the United States.
If anyone who is not eligible to own a firearm attempts to purchase one from
us, we will assist law enforcement in that person’s prosecution. If anyone
attempts to aid and abet the acquisition of a firearm from us for an ineligible
person, we will assist in all involved parties’ prosecution. We have no intention
of violating any laws. That is why we cannot ship some firearms and/or
magazines to jurisdictions that include California, Maryland, New Jersey, and
the New York City vicinity.
If an unlicensed individual wishes to purchase a
firearm that we have advertised, he or she must do so legally through an FFL, a
federally licensed dealer. Dealers normally charge transfer fees. In our
experience, the most readily available transferors are Pawnbrokers and
Gunsmiths. Please have transfer logistics worked out before contacting us for a
purchase. Thanks for your interest. Law Enforcement officers may purchase a
firearm through their department only if it will be used on duty, and
Department Letters and paperwork from the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the
jurisdiction are required.
